Cookies
Two things on this site set cookies, and neither stores anything on your device until you agree:
- Google Analytics, so we can see which pages get read, which products are looked at, and where people give up. It tells us that a page was viewed — not who you are.
- The Google map on our contact page. Until you agree you get a placeholder with our address and a link that opens Google Maps in a new tab.
If you decline, no analytics cookie is written, the map is never requested, and every part of this site still works. Nothing is withheld from you for saying no.
If you decline after previously accepting, we switch measurement off and delete the analytics cookies already on your device.

We have IP anonymisation switched on, so your address is truncated before it is stored. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing or audience building; advertising storage is switched off permanently, not merely by default. Google’s own description of how it handles this data is at policies.google.com.
You can also block Google Analytics everywhere, on any site, with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
One point of full disclosure, because it is the part most sites gloss over: before you have chosen, Google’s script is present on the page with all storage switched off. It writes nothing to your device and cannot recognise you, but Google does see the request itself, and therefore your IP address, in the same way it does when your browser fetches the fonts. If you decline, it stays switched off.
When you make a choice, we remember it in your browser’s own
local storage under the name aim-consent. That is not
a cookie: it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it stays on your
device until you clear your browsing data. Handing you a cookie to record that you
declined cookies would be absurd.
You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.

The enquiry form
What you type into the form on our contact page — your name, company, email, telephone number and your requirement — is emailed to our sales team and kept in our mailbox. It is used to answer your enquiry and to supply you. It is not sold, rented or passed to anyone outside AIM Alloys except where we need a carrier or bank to fulfil an order.
If you would like us to delete an enquiry, email info@aimalloys.in and we will remove it.
Where this site offers a WhatsApp button, selecting it opens WhatsApp with a message already written. Nothing is sent until you send it, and the conversation is then governed by WhatsApp’s own terms, not ours.
The blog
Our articles are written in WordPress and displayed here. The page is assembled on our server before it reaches you, so WordPress sets nothing on your device.
What we do not do
No advertising or remarketing pixels. No selling or sharing of anything you do here. No profiling of individuals — we look at totals, not at people. No attempt to identify you from your enquiry and follow you around the web.
Server logs
Like every website, our host records ordinary access logs: IP address, time, page requested and browser. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not used to build any profile of you.
