Ferro Titanium Powder
A strong deoxidiser and nitride former, used in low-hydrogen electrodes and stainless applications.
Titanium is one of the most powerful deoxidisers and denitriders available. In weld metal it scavenges oxygen and nitrogen, refines the grain, and improves low-temperature toughness — which is why ferro titanium is a standard addition in low-hydrogen basic electrodes.
In stainless steel it stabilises the structure against chromium carbide precipitation, protecting the corrosion resistance of the heat-affected zone. It also forms hard titanium carbides that contribute to wear resistance in hard-facing.

On the 65–70% grade, oxygen is typically held to 2.00% max, nitrogen to 0.50% max and vanadium to 2.50% max.
Please note. These are indicative industry-standard ranges shown for guidance. Where a grade name encodes a nominal sieve or density, that is what the designation means in the trade — the size range actually supplied, and the packing, are set to your requirement and confirmed on your order. The binding specification for any order is the one on your purchase order and the test certificate supplied with the consignment — see how we test and certify a lot. Ask us for a datasheet for the exact grade you need.
